HUNTER BREEDING
1. Weanlings/Yearlings
To be shown in hand. Judged on conformation/maturity and suitability for the hunter discipline.
2. Two Year Olds
To be shown in hand and at a jog. Judged on conformation/maturity, soundness and suitability for the hunter discipline.
3. Three Year Olds
To be shown in hand and at a jog. Judged on conformation/maturity, soundness and suitability for the hunter discipline. May only cross into Baby Green Hunter (no jumper/medal cross entry).
4. Four Year Olds
To be shown in hand and at a jog. Judged on conformation/maturity, soundness and suitability for the hunter discipline. May only cross into Baby Green Hunter & Pre-Green Hunter (can do jumpers and medals).
5. Short Stirrup Hunters
Riders 12 years of age and under to be shown at fences cross rails to 18".

6. Baby Green Hunters
Open to horses in their first year of showing over fences. Horse/Rider combination must not have competed in any division over 2'6" this season or any season past. Open to horses and ponies and all riders. Fences to 2'6".

7. Pre-Green Hunter
A Pre-Green hunter is a horse of any age in its first 2 consecutive years of showing that has never shown over fences 3'6" or higher. To be shown over fences 3' to 3'3". Horse may not cross enter into division with fence heights of 3'6" or higher. To be judged on performance.

HUNTER HACK
24. Show Hack
Show hacks must have vitality, animation, presence, balance, and clean fine limbs of supreme quality. Mane may not be roached, mane and tail may or may not be braided. The walk should be straight, four-beated and flat footed. The trot should be free, light and crisp. Contact should be on a more upright frame. Collection may be required with rider sitting. Extension - on contact - of medium speed with legs moving forward with impulsion, rider sitting or posting. Canter may be collected, regular or extended. Hand gallop with control may be required. Class routine - horses enter at walk. To be show at walk, trot, canter and hand gallop; collected and extended gaits to be called for; to stand quietly; only 8 horses to hand gallop at one time. To be judged on 55% performance, 20% quality, 15% conformation and 10% manners.
25. Road Hack
Mane may be roached, loose or braided. Tail may be braided. Horse or pony must present an appearance of overall substance with refinement. The walk - straight, four beated, flat footed with medium contact. Trot - straight and true; normal trot on light to medium contact; strong trot. Canter - normal on light to medium contact. Hand gallop under control. Horses enter ring at walk. To be shown at a flat footed walk on a reasonably loose rein, trot, strong trot, easy canter and hand gallop. Only 8 horses to hand gallop at one time. Judged on 55% performance, 20% substance, 15% conformation and 10% manners.
26. Pleasure Hack
To be shown at a flat footed walk, normal trot and easy canter, no gallop. Light contact to be maintained. To be judged 45% performance, 40% manners and 15% conformation.
